We stayed there only one night and it was as good as many named motels which costs twice as much. The operators were warm and friendly , the room was small but spotless, as soon as I stepped into the room you tell it had been cleaned properly. This motel is perfect for a single individual or a couple but not for a family or group. The bed was comfortable and the HVAC unit worked and the temp was right on. There are no amenities like a pool or hot tub but for a place to sleep and shower it can't be beat. There are plenty of places to eat near by and there is a convenience right across the street. If I am back in the area I will stay there again.

We always stay here when traveling through Doniphin. Love the aesthetic of older motels, and the owner/operators who typically run them have genuine interest in their customers. Thank you for being the caretakers of these pieces of history - we always choose you.

Very comfortable bed, super clean room and service was just AWESOME! Plans fell through on our weekend get together leaving us in a bit of a scramble to put something together. Contacted the hotel & spoke with Brenda 2 days before and got our room reserved. She was very pleasant to speak with and took very good care of us. We originally planned on being there by 7 or 8 PM but the devil had other plans & we didn't get in until almost 1:00 AM. Brenda told me no worries and accommodated our very late arrival. My family & I got a great nights sleep in a nice clean room. Now do not expect Italian marble floors or gold plated bath fixtures but if you need a good clean room with a cozy comfortable bed at a VERY reasonable price, call Brenda. THANK YOU BRENDA & NORTH END MOTEL! UPDATE. My wife & I have had the pleasure of staying at the North End Motel a few times since and every stay has been a most wonderful experience. Brenda runs a great place and always makes certain our stay is the absolute best it can be. God bless you Brenda.

Friendly staff; clean rooms. All the amenities you would expect from a motel. They unplug the mini-fridge to conserve power (which I think is great for Mother Earth) I don't usually do this, but 5 star motel! Congratulations!

Amazing service and an alarmingly great rate per night as well. 10/10 would recommend. I am currently doing a 152 mile float on the current river and don't have a vehicle in town to transport my gear and kayak. They graciously brought a truck down to the river and helped me load up both! I couldn't ask for better treatment. The other two hotels in town didn't answer after several repeated contacts. Check them out!

After trying other properties in the Doniphan area (and hearing others' experiences) ... we found the North End and then have stayed here multiple times over the years (nearly yearly -- except for 2020 when we didn't go anywhere ... but many folks' experience might be similar to ours).
Over the years, they have consistently offered good value -- including responsive service with reservations, flexible check-in, and clean rooms.
It's a pleasant property with pleasant staff and convenient location.
It's worked well for us and we look forward to returning.
